Last year we were hired to film at an orphanage in Guatemala for a church (CLA) that supports them from Langley, BC. What was suppose to be a shoot that spanned over a few days was drastically cut short when the airlines shipped our gear to Brasil by mistake. By the time it finally arrived at my hotel, we were left with one full day to film and 7 hours of driving to get to the different locations we needed to reach. Needless to say, it was a busy day.
The finished project is a 35 minute look at the orphanage (Shadow of his Wings) and speaks to the people who run it as well as some of the girls who have been taken in and attend the school. But below is a short overview that we put together last night of what the project is all about.
